Date

In this project completed at the end of June 2025, 17 different species of native plant were added to a garden on the shores of the Ottawa River.

The Ottawa River is a highway for migrating species from monarchs to migrating birds many species follow the river. Adding floral diversity to migratory routes help these traveling species find the food and energy required to complete their migration.
